Arrival, set up and soundcheck

We like to arrive early and aim for a minimum of two hours to load in, set up and sound check. Ideally this needs to be done before guests arrive as we will need to make some noise and it can be an irritating process. However it is necessary to get the best sound possible.

After set up & soundcheck

After setting up we can play background music through the PA system and will begin preparing ourselves for the first set. The music we put on through the PA will match the mood of the event for example if guests are eating or socialising then we will keep it to a minimum. However if guests are raring to dance then we can also provide some more upbeat music and turn it up accordingly. Our singers often find a quiet spot or go to the van to warm up ready to give great performances. However there will always be someone on hand with our equipment or nearby should you have any last minute questions or requests that we can help you with.

First Dance

We’ll play a live arrangement of your special song (upon prior arrangement) or play the recorded version of your choice through our sound system.

1st live set & break

At the end of our first set we usually leave the dancefloor full and we continue to play a carefully constructed playlist through the PA System that’s guaranteed to keep them there dancing. During this time we’ll take a break of a minimum of 20 minutes.

2nd live set & end of the night

Our second is usually 75-90 minutes and we go all out on the dancefloor/singalong anthems to ensure your guests have a great night and remember your occasion for a long time! After we’ve played, we’ll keep the hits coming with our laptop DJ (additional option). At the end of the night, we’ll pack up with minimal fuss and leave the venue as we found it.
